Heavy Duty Excavator Operator

• Location: Mindarie Mineral Sands Project – South Australia

• Roster: 2/1 - 2 weeks on, 1 week off

• 12-hour shifts (7 Days / 1 Day Off / 6 Nights / 7 Days Off).

• Accommodation and meals provided

• Shuttle services from camp to site

• Flat Rate of $63.79 hr + Superannuation

Join a well-established mining services contractor at the Mindarie Mineral Sands Project. Located in the Murray Mallee region, SA approximately 150 km east of Adelaide, this project is dedicated to the safe extraction of zircon, rutile, and ilmenite.

Our client pride themselves on sustainable mining practices and progressive land rehabilitation. And they are currently looking for experienced Heavy Duty Excavator Operators to join their team for long-term opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating 100-ton+ Excavators (Liebherr and Komatsu).
• Supporting daily mine operations and double benching in soft sand environments.
• Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery.
• Strictly adhering to site safety protocols and rehabilitation procedures.

What You Will Need

• Proven history operating heavy-duty excavators (Digger) in a mining environment.
• Must hold RIIMPO301D/E (Conduct hydraulic excavator operations).
• Valid Driver’s License and a current, up-to-date resume.
• Ability to commit to 12-hour day/night rotations and your own transport
